Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost

about

Life is full of wonders, but it's easy to miss them when you're goal-oriented and task-driven, as so many of us are these days. Even if you're heading for a specific destination, you'll find so much more between point A and point B if you let yourself explore on the way. Straying from the shortest route opens the door to the unexpected - to delightful, quirky, or amazing things you had no idea existed. (I often have to remind myself of this.)

This piece celebrates the wonder of wandering and the joy of the unexpected.

It was recorded in May 2015 at Wild Pine Studios (my home studio) using my old wooden cello Godiva, a BlueAnt condenser microphone, and three dark-chocolate salted caramel truffles.
