Kris Burch This is beautiful!

This is a duo improvisation between violist Geli Wuerzner and me (Betsy Tinney, cello). Like "Persephone's Champagne," this piece was completely improvised from start to finish.

Trivia for this piece: I’m playing my warm wooden four-string cello, Godiva; Geli is playing her gorgeous warm five-string wooden viola. (Geli’s viola is nameless because, she explains, it never occurred to her to name it; does one name one’s own arm?).
